A quick post. I took these shots last summer while pruning my flower garden. The bottom one is a double exposure. I was quite pleased with how it turned out. I'm thinking a little less yard work this year. My poor lilacs may never recover from my butchering. I just don't seem to have that magic touch, so I'm going to let nature take its course.

Very pretty. I like the effect of the second one also.
Thank you for the kind comment, Hilary. Double exposures are a lot of fun. And photographing flowers, too.
sounds like a plan to me...just let nature take her course. as far as plants in my gardens...it's survival of the fittest!
cool dbl exposure!! :)
Thank you for the kind comment Laura. I'm definitely sticking to that plan. I can't even post photos of those poor lilac trees. I trimmed them out of season and a bit far back. They may not recover for two or three years
:(
I was going to trim the ones between me and my neighbor, but forget it. I have a brown thumb. If I'm taking care of a plant, it'll survive, but barely. I'm just going to let them thrive on their own.
