Dancing Water

Awhile back, I found myself easily distracted by the water splashing off this measuring cup in my sink. I love the way water moves and flows and freezes in drops. The action of the water is spellbinding.

Check out the photoshopped version here.

Ellen - Thank you for the kind comment. Water is one of the tougher subjects for me. I'm always adjusting my settings to get the right look.

Laura - Thank you for the wonderful comment. I think the cup adds to it, too. Like a bright splash of color in the middle of all that silver / gray.

Arabesque - Thank you for the kind comment. The gradual rippling effect was a bit of an accident, but I think it's cool, too.
