Transparent Nature

This is another set of double exposure photos. Some of my favorites of this genre. I find it interesting how nature insinuated itself into or obliterated the man made objects in these two photos. A subtle reminder that nothing lasts forever.

I've never done this before but the images are terrific. Love the contrasts and a bit of a ghostly feel. Nice.

Merry Christmas, jj

Thank you for the kind comments everyone.

Laura - I'm still playing around with multiple exposure shots, so I'll have some more in the future.

Kaori - Finding out how colors interact in these photos is most of the fun. It's takes awhile for me to get the settings right sometimes. Not too dark and not too light. I've been having a lot of fun experimenting with these multiple exposure shots.

Hilary - I'm glad that you are enjoying these shots. Me, too! I took a bunch of tongue in cheek Christmas shots. I'll probably post them in July:)

Joanna - I love that kind of ghosting double image feel, too. I've started looking for things that will fit well together. Trying to get that blend just right.

Ladyfi - Glad that you liked the shots. I have a ton of them. I've really been having a blast putting these togther.
