WOW...that looks dreary! Did you process them that way or is it really that dreary up there??
Jillsy Girl - They are a bit on the dark side as far as lighting. I had the white space set to gold, too, so the snow comes out white instead of blue. Still, it was overcast. It's been snowing all day. Blech. Well, my husband would be happy, but he has to work, so he can't go snowboarding. So huge fail for all of us. There's always tomorrow.
That's a whole bunch of snow, Vickie and even if the branches really look beautiful, nature seems to have forgotten it's the 8th of April. Wishing you a nice cozy week-end :-)
Poor you. There is nothing more forlorn than snow on a trampoline in April.
I think you make a very good point.
...easy for me to say...but i DO enjoy the snowy pictures!the trampoline...makes me want to jump up and down in the middle and watch the snow fly! or maybe make a snow angel!like i said...EASY for me to say...being here in SPRINGY florida!
I wondered that myself a couple of weeks back.. poor you. Hurry spring!
Anyes - Thank you for the warm wishes. The thing that drives me nuts about this time of year is one day we're drowning in snow and the next the weather is a springy 55 F. I think that's why I get sick around this time of year. Blech. May should see a permanent warming in the weather.Linda - True. The trampoline does look a bit sad - abandoned. My husband is quite the trooper and will brush it off in the winter to keep it from sagging. Fortunately, the weather warmed up today and all the snow melted off, so my son went out and jumped on it.Unknown Mami - I wonder if our government would like an easy holiday to vote on. We should start a petition:)Laura - I have pictures of my guys jumping on the trampoline in the winter. I'm too easily discouraged by the cold.Hilary - Hope you are seeing some spring weather up your way. Today was really nice, so I'm hoping that will keep up. Trying not to complain, too much. I'm anxious for spring and to start photographing the insects again.
