The World's Smallest Gas Pump Attendant

I would like to say thank you to Hilary at The Smitten Image for including this post in her Posts of the Week. Stop by and visit her blog to see some of the most spectacular nature photography around.

My husband is kind enough to let me borrow his photos from time to time. He took this one while on vacation in South Dakota this summer.

Oh! I love it, particularly combined with the title, it's perfect.

And doesn't he look like he's concentrating?

Quick story (sorry, I leave mammoth comments sometimes): It reminded me of the time my husband brought me some roses that he'd picked up at the grocery store, along with a tiny, purple teddy bear. He said, "Hello, I found this little fellow trying to deliver these, but he couldn't reach the doorbell. He was hopping up and down, and hopping up and I gave him a lift indoors. I wonder who your secret admirer is?"

And I named that bear Horatio, tiny but determined. No task too big :-)

It's clear to me that the world's smallest gas station attendant up there, and Horatio need to team up and conquer the world.

Love the story, Land of Shrimp. How sweet of your husband. I think Horatio and this grasshopper could conquer the world for sure.
