Skywatch Friday - Melitas Island

A couple of weeks ago my husband and son went to Boy Scout Camp on Melitas Island. It's an island the Boy Scouts own on Flathead Lake. While there, my husband shot this scenic shot of a tree near the water.

Check out more sky photos from around the world at Skywatch Friday.

It sure is a beauty. I'll bet the birds love it.

My husband didn't have a whole lot of luck with birds while he was there. He tried to get a hummingbird, but it was gone. Welcome to my life. They did find a lot of tussok moth caterpillars which I'll post in the next couple of days. They're freaky little creatures.
