Skywatch Friday - Absaroka Mountain Range

Last weekend we took a trip to Northern Montana. We're following the dinosaur trail. You get a stamp for each museum you visit and a t-shirt if you get to all of them in five years. Well, it's a drive there, so we decided to stay for awhile, and we had quite a grand time visiting the museums and the wildlife refuges in that area.

Along the way, I took this photo of the Absaroka Mountain Range near Big Timber, Montana. I love the way it's shrouded in clouds.

For more dramatic skies check out Skywatch Friday.

The view of the mountains was worth the drive-- but you got a tee shirt too! Awesome.

Wow.. what a gorgeous sight. I would have a hard time leaving there without a thousand photos!
