Sourdough Creek

I think one of the things that attracts me to macro photography is the detail in the patterns of things. From spider webs to butterflies' wings, I enjoy seeing how it all fits together and finding the art in that. This is why water is one of my favorite things to photograph. There are so many different patterns that are possible depending upon how quickly the water is flowing, how deep it is and if anything is blocking it. The shots of Sourdough Creek below illustrate these different patterns beautifully.
