Back Roads and Beyond

A couple of weeks ago my husband and I decided it would be fun to take a drive down a lesser known road to try and find some ruins from mines. Well, we didn't have much luck with that. It seems that some suburbs have since popped up either obscuring such mines or perhaps the snow covers them. We did however find a place to hike. There's a park trail off a road called Newman Road. It winds through a forest and looks over a valley.

Just driving out on Trail Creek Road is an adventure. It heads towards the Absaroka Mountain Range which is just stunning. You can see for yourself by looking at the first photo. I think we'll definitely be back as I'd like to see if we can spot those ruins.
